The whitewater park at Wausau was redone. The dam drop is great for entertainment now. Pete described it best when he took a look and said "Oh...that's ugly!" I'll just list that as another challenge to get thru. Everything else was very nice. The three holes at the end were a great addition! Personally I had a great day paddling with a great group of ladies. There isn't enough said about the women in whitewater kayaking. Within every group there is a dynamic personality. With the women the positive, encouraging sisterhood that exist is such a Blessing on the water. Combine that with our great counterparts and it just makes for an incredible group of paddlers. Special mention to our rescue swimmer, Dan. Always ready to pull our soggy behinds out of the drink..Thanks!

Oh my gosh, that new wave/hole looks delicious. Please tell me they'll be releasing more frequently at Wausau this summer.
They're going to have several releases. I'll miss the Whitewater weekend coming up here but I'll be at the one on the 30th. I believe the website if wausauwhitewater.org Definately a great time!
OK, I absolutely MUST get to that hole. It looks Friggin' awesome. Is that the same loop-hole from last year?
Oh No...nobody was playing that one very much. This is the big hole under the RR bridge...really nice! Huge air!!
